The Guglielmino families, headed up by brothers Don and Pete and their wives Patty and Patsy are owners/operators of the guest ranch. Pete has managed the cattle ranch operation on the site since 1989, and is a licensed aircraft pilot, professional horse trainer and fly fishing/hunting guide. Most recently, Pete served as the President of the WCA (Washington Cattlemen's Association.) Pete and his wife Patsy and their three children have lived on the ranch for the past 27 years and Pete and Patsy have become fixtures at The Cookhouse, hosting guests over cocktails and conversation, often times into the wee hours of the morning. Pete is the quintessential cowboy, where brother Don, is the detailed-oriented businessman.
Don has spent more than 30 years in the resort industry, working for restaurants and hotels in California and Alaska, before launching a casino marketing career in Nevada, that eventually led him to resorts in the Puget Sound area. After years in the public eye and travel/commuting, Don enjoys his privacy and works "behind the scenes" handling marketing, legal and business affairs for the guest ranch. He and his wife Patty built their log home at Ansaldo Lake in 1993.
Both Don and Pete are joined by their brother Tom, and nephew Brent who assist in handling the day to day affairs at the ranch. Brent is the Ranch Manager for Bull Hill and Tom spends most of his days on horseback, either with guests or in the back country, working the cattle.
